DIY Master Class Overview
The DIY Master Class is RK3 Designs newest hands-on workshop. This 3 Day class is invaluable for individuals and DIY’ers looking to learn the skills to tackle projects themselves. There is NO PREVIOUS EPOXY experience needed to attend this class. The only difference between this and our 4 Day Pro Class is the Business Essentials section of the class.
In this DIY Master Class you’ll learn the following:
Days 1 and 2
- The fundamentals of epoxy: Choosing the correct epoxy, mixing, tinting, and pouring
- Basic and Advanced design techniques
- Popular, recreate-able, and profitable finishes in the industry today
- Detailed demos and large group projects
- Individual sample boards you create and keep
- Top Coating: Matte and High Gloss
- Membership to our private RK3 Designs Alumni Facebook community to share ideas and projects with other students
- Student Discount on Stonecoat Countertop products (When purchased off RK3 Designs website). Unlimited student use.
Day 3: Fabrication
- Tools and equipment
- Material selection for specific job applications
- Templating, cutting, building custom countertops/vanities/showers
- Seaming – During fabrication and onsite at installation
- Creating drop and rock edges
- Prepping and pouring over an existing surface
