Workshop Time & Location

Unless otherwise noted, workshops begin promptly at 9am! We invite you to come early for coffee, snacks and conversation at 8:30am.

Directions to the Studio

Most navigation apps, tend to take you 400ft PAST our front gate! Look for the red paneling, the gate should be open. Drive straight down the road, go past the first house on the right, you’ll begin to see a large pasture (typically with some horses and a cow), you’ll take a right at the end of the pasture and see our studio ahead on the right side of the road. Park anywhere near the studio or if needed to the side of the driveway. Please avoid blocking any cars under our carport on the left hand side.

Food

Lunch will be provided each day and we will have coffee and snacks each morning.

I have an efficiency apartment on site with 2 Queen size beds, a kitchenette (no stove), and a bathroom. $125/night. Each additional person is $25. First come first serve. The first night NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required to book the room, call (830) 745-3440 to make a reservation. This is our private residence that we are making available for students. Please give us 10 days prior notice if you need to cancel, this will allow us time to fill. NO SMOKING AND NO PETS, this includes service animals.

Neighbor’s Home – My next-door neighbor has a beautiful brick home with two available rooms, and an efficiency apartment (1 Queen bed downstairs and 1 full bed upstairs) that’s walking distance from our studio. She rents each room for $85/person ($100/couple) ea./night and the apartment is a flat $125/night each additional person is $25 ea. There’s a pool and available when the weather is good. Airport Information

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) is 66 miles (1 hr. 4 min) if you take the 130 Toll. This takes you completely around Austin which has terrible traffic. If you go I35, it’s about 63 miles (1 hr. 15 min) and no toll. This is the airport we advise to fly into, smaller and much easier to get around.

San Antonio International Airport (SAT) is approximately 45 miles (51 minutes) Traffic can get very congested during rush hour, so be aware.

Uber is available to Seguin, but be prepared to spend quite a bit. Seguin is a small rural area.
